We have had a lovely day for Golf and Wedding Expos!
The club was really hopping today with the Wedding Expo exhibits, B and C Grade Pennant matches and our normal Sunday Competition.
Our playing partners were Garry and Kay Baillie who were great company. We had a nice social day and pity about the golf. Our day started with Peter forgetting to put my clubs on the cart while I was upstairs taking photos of the Wedding Expo. It was all downhill from there.
The Golf Event of the day was a Team Stableford 1 X 2 X 3 plus Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.
We had 74 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Rhonda Robertson had a birdie at the 6th; Garry Baillie had a 4 pointer at the 15th; Kay Baillie parred the 15th; Fay Bailey was instrumental in Wally's 35 points with some good golf advice; Nigel Asken had birdies at the 10th and 1st; George Foster and Nigel Asken beat the girls for the keno ticket; Vicki Foster parred the 17th; Brent Frewin had birdies at the 4th, 5th and 15th; Doug Incoll had 5/4 on the 2nd; Julie Hazzard's highlight is having a new bathroom done; Kevin O'Brien's highlight was hitting a shot over Peter Martin's head at the 6th after Peter challenged him to hit the shot; Michael Norman had a 20 foot gobbler at the 11th; my highlight was finishing with the first ball I started with.
PENNANTS RESULTS:
Gosford played in three grades of the Pennant matches today.
A GRADE - played Shelly Beach at Shelly Beach: Shelly beach defeated Gosford 6 to 1 1/2
B GRADE- played Mangrove Mountain at Gosford: Gosford defeated Mangrove Mountain 3 to 0
C GRADE - played Mangrove Mountain at Gosford: Gosford defeated Mangrove Mountain 2 to 1
