Golf - Tuesday 30th June 2009

Well, what happened to 23 degrees and sunny????? The bonus was it did not rain & the course was just a little drier.

It has been a fantastic conclusion to the two day Veterans Event with the ladies enjoying their second day on the course which has been very well organised by our hard working committee and social committee. Today we had 174 starters with 126 visitors and we did recieve a lot of compliments from our visitors on the presentation of the club, course & administration on the days of the events - so Congratulations go to all our hard workers which include our Ladies Committee, our ladies social committee, the volunteer spotters, F-Troop, the green staff, the Pro Shop and the general staff of the Golf Club all of whom have contributed in their own special way. It is great to see these special days held at our club.
