The course was busy with Vets players today so we were a bit restricted with where we could work.

We has eleven volunteers to share the work - Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Peter Martin, Rob Benson, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, Warren Gray, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

The boys loaded up and delivered a load of firewood, cleaned out the F-Troop Shed, mowed and cleaned up the Front Street area, did rubbish pick up around the course

The girls tidied up under the clubhouse car park and BBQ area, made a start on cleaning out the agapanthus garden, cleaned up and watered the gardens at the 14th bush toilet area, tidied up the tranquility garden at the 6th tee, cleaned up the Ladies 3rd Tee, cleaned up at the wedding garden, watered the potted plants, checked the water feature and watered the putting green garden.

We enjoyed our morning tea of loaf cake with a variety of fresh fruit - Thank you Chef Alice!

Fortunately we have not had any further large branches down on the course this week.

We collected $65 in cash from our donation tin in the Pro Shop - a big thank you to our generous Members and supporters.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

The end of the night .........me dancing with one of our hero's of the night-  Zorro

The Hawaiian Night and the World's Greatest Shave did not attract as many people as we would have hoped - but those who did come did have an enjoyable night and contributed to a good night raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation that we all love to support.

Congratulations to Anthony (Ranga) Hanna, Mark (Zorro) Sorridimi and Brad Cann - who all contributed their locks for a good cause.

Well done to Peta Bone - our staff Member who volunteered to be hairdresser for the night and did a fantastic job.

Our meals were all themed around Hawaiian and were enjoyed by all.

We used some Frangipanis and Hibiscus flowers from our Golf Club Gardens to brighten up the night.

Ron Beechey celebrated his 70th Birthday at the club tonight - Congratulations Ron!

Bert and Ronda Jordon celebrated 49 Years of marriage today!  Well don Bert and Ronda!
