We had a great morning for F-Trooping today and 13 volunteers was very helpful for getting our projects done. On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Rob Benson, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, Don Nicholls, John Hollebon, Peter Martin, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

The tree gang of Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge and Kevin O'Brien worked their age through the course undercutting trees.

Rob Benson and Garry Trigg did rubbish pick up around the course as well as cleaning up some of the tee areas.

John Hollebon tidied up the shrubs in the front gardens and also at the 2nd Tee area  including trimming the yellow hedge.

Peter Martin and Don Nicholls repaired the lattice at the 14th tee garden and erected screening at the air conditioning plant area.

Anne Burgess tidied up at the BBQ area , watered camellias and plants at the 18th gardens and 

Camellia Way.

Di Beechey and Carolyn Buttsworth cleaned up around the clubhouse and the BBQ area.

I worked at the 14th bush toilet area, cleaning in and around the toilets, watering the gardens and moving the agavi plants from where the stump was being removed, tidied up the 6th tranquility garden, tidied up the Ladies 3rd Tee, dead headed weeded and fertilised the roses at the putting green garden, watered the pots in the gazebo, re-filled the water feature and pots around the 1st tee, tidied up garden rubbish at the putting green.

The flys were bad but I notice that the fly traps have been put out.

We were all looking forward to morning tea after a hard mornings work. Thank you "Barto" it was very much appreciated.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

On a happy note we congratulate Andrew Potter for gaining an apprentice trainee job in Pennant Hills. Today was his last day with us so we wish him all the best for the future.

On a sad note it was devastating to hear of the passing of Helen Corliss.  Helen played a big part in our ladies golf being one of our hard working social committee members for many years.

We had a very successful meeting which satisfied all the members queries and questions relating to the management of the club.  It was agreed that we have been through a tough year with financial management issues being the predominate concerns. 

Having these issues resolved to the best of the Board's ability we are now in a position to move on to bigger and better things.

Let us give our new board the best support we can and playing lots of golf would be a great way to start.
