Our road trip has sadly come to an end and we are now back to reality.
On our way home somewhere between Narrabri and Moree we passed Lyn & Fraser Bates & family plus Rhonda & Wally Robertson -starting on their road trip - in the first instance visiting most of the places we had just come from.

Golf - Thursday 27th June 2019

Golf at Moree with my brother Phil - at the Par 3 17th Hole - our Happy Hole as we both parred this hole across the river.

Moree Club Logo - The Kookaburra

Moree is a seriously good golf course - very challenging with some tricky fairways and greens.  There are no bunkers but plenty of other places to fall foul of the fairways - the raised greens are a challenge by themselves.  The river crossings again a test of skill.

We had a very enjoyable day playing  golf with my brother at Moree Golf Club today.
Blue sky and sunshine - a perfect 23 degrees - just right for golf.

Meanwhile at Gosford...…….

Carts were not allowed on the course and it was still very wet so there was no Ladies Competition today

We will be home in a couple of days and will bring all the beautiful weather with us so it will be life as normal next week.

Surat Qld for morning coffee break

St George - our overnight stay

Hello from beautiful St George.  Homewards bound now and getting closer to the winter weather.

We travelled from Roma today, coffee stop at lovely Surat and tonight at St George.  Onwards then to Moree (my old stomping grounds)

The weather forecast was not looking good - I checked the radar and there would be some doubt that our loyal F-Troopers would have been able to work.

Meanwhile on the Central Coast …..

Our Gosford Pennants ladies attended the District Pennants Awards presentation held today at Breakers.

My thanks to Lorraine Bignall for tor the photo below:

yah! I made it over the water

Yah!! Peter made it over the water but unfortunately hit a tree the other side and the ball was never seen again

Hello from beautiful Emerald Qld.  We played golf today in lovely 20 degrees.  The course was very lacking in water - the fairways were total dirt before the recent rains and now they are trying to bring them back.  In a recent Pro Am held at Emerald the players had to tee up around the course so there has been good improvement since then.
