We had a good turn up of volunteers this morning which was good because we have three members away on holidays.

On hand we had Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O’Brien, Dave Scifleet, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, John Hollebon, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today was hedge maintenance, garden maintenance, tree maintenance, repairs to fence, rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course, firewood delivery, start of mulch to the 6th gardens, trimming of the sasanqua Camellias at the practice green.

We enjoyed our morning tea of fresh sandwiches in the sunshine at the Beer Garden.

I don’t think this was a line for the straightest drive today at the 11th

But Carolyn Buttsworth was the closest of our group to the line

The threatening forecast only finished up to be a few infrequent showers so golf was comfortable today.

We had a big catch up with our projects after having several weeks we have not been able to get on the course due to rain and Public Holidays.

The course was busy with BWVETS.

We had 8 volunteers today to share the load.

Projects worked today was Loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, Wood deliveries and wood preparation, hedge maintenance and path and garden maintenance.

The weather was kind to us and we enjoyed our morning tea in the sunshine.

In spite of the dire weather forecast (which encouraged a lot of us to pull out of the competition) we had a perfect weather day for golf although the course was just maintained and was difficult to play after the recent rain.

The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stroke - Club and WGNSW Medal + 9 Hole Ladies Single Stableford.

F-Troop - Monday 3rd April 2023

 No carts or heavy equipment were allowed on the course today so that put a halt to our “on course” projects.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls and John Hollebon.

Projects worked on were off the course - cutting up of timber on the oval area, replanting of shrubs and tidy up of gardens around the clubhouse, delivery of firewood.

Morning tea of fresh sandwiches was appreciated by our hard workers.

Golf - Monday 3rd April 2023

 There was no golf competition today due to the inclement weather. We had 75 ml of rain since yesterday so no carts were allowed on the course.

The forecast for tomorrow is not good, however at this stage the carts are still allowed on. Check tomorrow regarding the effect of overnight rain.

Golf -Sunday 2nd April 2023

 Today was a total wash out unfortunately for our golf. More rain is forecast for this coming week - hopefully we will be able to get some golf in.

 Some late showers/rain interfered with some our later players today and unfortunately they could not finish their rounds.

The Golf Event of the day was a Medley 4 person Ambrose.

We had 181 starters with 4 visitors from The SGA, GenY, Mangrove Mountain  and Emajin.
