Hello from Mt. Isa - we decided to have another day here so we could play golf.
My highlight was getting more than 30 points and finishing with the same ball I started with.
It is very hot here - 31 degrees today but we did enjoy playing the course. It had no bunkers but the rough was very rough ranging from red dirt to pebbles/stones/rocks as well as long couch grass.
Meanwhile in Gosford...…..
The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford.
We had 38 starters.
OVER THE FIELD:
WINNER: Sharon Anderson - 42 points
RUNNER UP: Leonie Casey - 41 points
3RD: Helen Potter - 38 points
BALLS WENT TO: 35 points on a countback
DSR: 73
9 HOLE COMPETITION:
We had 7 starters.
WINNER: Betty Shields - 20 points
BALLS WENT TO: 14 points on a countback
DSR: 36
