With Duncan and Rosalie Dyer at the 1st Tee

Hmmmm!!! Guess what F-Troop will be doing tomorrow?
A 3 tonn branch fallen at the back of the 16th tee after the recent high winds.
Some extra helping hands at F-Troop tomorrow would be appreciated as all the
Grounds Staff will be tied up with the planned course maintenance.
Can you spare an hour or two to help out? We will be meeting at the Greenkeepers Shed
at 7.00 am or else you can find us all working at the 16th tee if 7.00 am us too early for you.  Your help to remove this large branch would be appreciated. A great morning tea at 10.30 will be your reward.

Our playing partners today were Duncan and Rosalie Dyer and we had a great day in spite of the showers with some good highlights - the best of which was Rosalie winning the Silver Salver.

The Golf Event of the day was the 68th Legacy Cup - Single Stableford for Men and Women + 2 Ball Team.

We had 64 starters with 7 visitors from Hawks Nest, Kurri, Shelly Beach, Toronto, Trundle and Yamba.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Vicki Foster chipped in for 4/3 at the 4th; Lynn Puiatti chipped in for 5/3 at the 4th; Peter Martin played a good first 9; the group of Casey and English told me they were good players out of luck however the trophy results say something different; Jann Henebury won nearest the pin at the 8th; Carolyn Buttsworth  parred the 6th and the 13th; Ray Buttsworth parred the 5th and the 14th; Andy Henebury saw 3 black snakes which he assures me is good news as they keep away the ire deadly brown snakes; Brent Frewin had birdies at the 16th and 18th; Sheila Williams had a 3 pointer at the 18th; Scott Walker (Hawks Nest) handicap 2 - had a 60 metre chip into the hole at the 2nd for an Eagle; Steven Cross had birdies at the 5th and the 16th; Neville Walker had a birdie at the 16th; Col Matterson had a birdie on the 5th; Jan Van Den Berg had a 10 metre putt into the hole at the 15th; my highlight was having 3 three pointers and finishing with the same ball I started with.

Congratulations to Tony Morton - Legacy President and his volunteers who did a great job of running the day and raising some good dollars for the Legacy Appeal. Well done to everyone who supported the day.
