Getting started

All hands on deck for this big job

The 16th Tee cleaned up

What branch?

Lower branches trimmed off the Lilly Pilly at the 10th fairway

New tibouchina plants in the front gardens to replace the yellow daisies that were past their use by date.

We were short of  few Troopers this morning for various reasons just when we needed some hands for the removal of the huge branch down at the 16th. We welcomed Richard Casey's help who answered to the call for more helpers.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Warren Gray, Peter Martin, Richard Casey, Anne Burgess, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

The boys took care of the tree branch in quick time and went on to deliver a load of firewood to an F-Troop customer and did loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course an wiper snipped around the dam at the 13th Tee.

Another Member volunteering his time and expertise was Ray Buttsworth who cleaned and sorted out the obsolete computer equipment that was stored in the clubhouse and is no longer required.

The girls were busy all morning - helping with the branch, cleaning up at the 18th Tee, tidied up the Ladies 3rd Tee, tidied up at the 15th roundabout garden, BBQ area, planted new tibouchina plants at the front gardens, cleaned up at the 14th Bush Toilets and gardens around, trimmed the Lilly Pilly lower branches at the 10th tee, tidied at the 1st and 10th tees, started work on weeding the agave garden at the wedding garden and the putting green.

Morning Tea  of fruit pastries, watermelon and chocolates was very much appreciated - Thank you Chef Alice!

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

On a sad note - we were saddened to learn that Arthur Haviland lost his daughter to cancer yesterday, after she had been in hospital for the last three weeks.  Our deepest sympathy to Arthur and his family.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been set.
