This photo was taken at Gosford on the right hand side of the 11th Fairway
behind the lavender garden at the 16th tee.

My playing partners were Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Walker. I thought we had some bad luck today - but after seeing the above photo our day was not too bad after all. Our best highlight today was Carolyn's 15 foot putt for a par on the 8th.

The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stroke - 1st Round WGNSW Medal and Club Medal.

We had 58 starters with one visitor - Helen Smith from Tamworth.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Sharon Anderson had a par on the 16th; Helen Smith (Tamworth) had an enjoyable day; Anne Forrester parred the 1st and the 12th; Robin Incoll played a steady game and won the putting; Carolyn Buttsworth sank a lovely 15 footer on the 8th for a par; Chris Shaw had a gobbler on the 1st; Marianne Lanham played a lovely game; Fay Bailey parred the 1st; Helen Stuart had a gobbler on the 18th; Fran James had some good pars;,Kay Baillie had a gobbler on the 5th; Lynn Puiatti had a gobbler on the 10th; Lauren Matterson did not have any 3 putts; Rae Brown is happy to be back; Sheila Williams had an enjoyable day; Carol Goding played the par 3's well winning nearest the pin on the 8th; Lorraine Bignall had a par on the 15th with one putt; Christine Drakeford had pars on the 4th and the 14th.

The Hawks Nest Day will be going ahead on Tuesday 24th March when our course is going to be under maintenance. The bus will be leaving at 6.15 am and please be there by 6am.
You will need to be registered with Marianne Lanham for this trip and the money needs to be paid by next Tuesday.
