Chef Alice - setting a new bench mark for our Morning Tea - Yum!

Back of the 5th Green is now treeless so there will no longer be threatening tree roots.

New path 5th Green to the 6th Tee almost finished.

A delivery of road base donated by Duncan Dyer picked up and deposited to the Golf Club by Brad Binns.

We had a very busy morning at F-Troop working our way around social and pennants players on the course.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge, Don Nicolls, Rob Benson, Warren Gray, Sam Knox, Peter Martin, Garry Trigg and Jan Martin.

The Tree Gang of Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge and Garry Trigg removed the final tree from the back of the 5th Green which will now solve the problem of tree roots growing into the green. A white ant riddled tree at the 13th was removed and undercutting done along the creek at the 13th.

Sam Knox boarded up the starters box where there had been broken glass.

Rob Benson did some maintenance to the notice board in the bottom foyer and worked on replacing the poles at the small bridge at the 10th.

Warren Gray, Peter Martin and Don Nicholls did pick up work around the course including picking up the dreaded Bunya Pine mess at the 16th. Don and Peter also fixed the garden sprinkler system at the 1st and 10th tees.

I worked at the Bush Toilets area at the 14th, raking, watering and cleaning up, watered the Orange trumpet vine at the 14th, watered the new pony tail Palm at the 15th, tidied the garden at the back of the 5th Green, tidied up the garden at the 6th tee, trimmed the star jasmine hedge on the Front Street, watered the potted plants and the Wedding Garden area, watered the 1st and 10th gardens.

Our morning tea was delicious pancakes, croissants, jam and fresh fruit and was enjoyed by all. Thank you Chef Alice - we were very impressed!

During the week Brad Binns picked up and delivered a load of road base that was donated by Duncan Dyer.  Thank you Duncan and Brad - your efforts are much appreciated.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
