We had 80 starters with 18 Daily Players = 98 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Brent Frewin sank a 450 foot shot into the 7th for a birdie; Kevin O'Brien played a steady game; Leonie Casey scored 41 points playing steady golf; Arthur Haviland had only 3 pointers or 2 pointers ( no wipes or 1's); Elly Van Den Berg had a great drive to 80cms of the hole at the 14th for a birdie 2/5 and won nearest the pin; Debbie Grinham played steady golf; George Foster had no wipes; Vicki Foster had 37 nice points and the girls beat the boys for the Keno ticket; Rhonda Robertson had a birdie at the 6th; Bruce Binns had two birdies; Leanne Binns had one four pointer; Georgina Lamb played nice steady golf; Robin Incoll had a nice 6/3 on the 10th; Duncan Brown had a great gobbler birdie at the 6th; David Small had a birdie at the 5th and had 23 points on the front 9; Dick Bosely improved by 3 shots this week; Neville Walker had a gobbler 5/3 on the 10th; Grant Williams had a birdie on the 1st; Kerry Williams was a good cheer leader; Jan Walker had some good drives; Lauren Matterson had 4/3 on the 8th; Sheena Asken had 3/4 on the 15th; Anne Burke had a nice par on the last hole; Duncan Dyer had a 2/4 birdie; Adrian Burke parred the 10th; Ian Witt had a birdie on the 12th; Graeme Kingsmill had some nice pars; Denise Bentlin had two 4 pointers; Di Beechey had 4/4 at the 9th; Mark Stimpson had a birdie on the 16th; my highlight had a good start with 8 points on the first 3 holes.
