Golf - Friday 19th November 2010

The blue/purple/white theme continues in gardens at this time of year. We have just seen the "Yesterday/today & tomorrow" shrubs in full bloom. These will be replaced with Agapanthus (and we have mass displays for you around the course this year), hydrangeas, frangipani, salvia and jacarandas to take us through Christmas & the summer months. Speaking of hydrangeas - we have a beautiful display at the Men's 3rd tee thanks to F-Troopers Des & Yvonne Wilson who look after this garden ( and many others). These will be replaced by the mass tibouchina displays next autumn. I hope you all enjoy our blue/purple/white theme gardens as they reach the heights of their best displays throughout the year.

Today we planted out some 60 more African Daisies at the 17th fairway garden which should give us a beautiful mass display of daisies as we pass around the dog leg corner. These daisies have been donated by Brian & Lesley Gregory. Combined with the agapanthus we should have a colourful vision.
