We should be very proud of our Pennants Teams this year. They have put in a mighty effort
representing our club in the defence of the BWGA Sterland Shield which we won last year.
Our A Grade Team is in the finals. B & C Grade that played today and won against Terrigal will need to play off for the right to go on to the finals.

Our local golfing event of the day was a Split sixes Team Event plus Singles mixed Men and Ladies.
We had 118 starters with 4 visitors from Kempsey and Roseville.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Yvonne Wilson had a 3 pointer at 18, had a nice par at the 5th & the girls won the Keno ticket; Mark Stimpson had a birdie on the 13th; Keith Morris enjoyed his Harem of Doris Morris, Debbie Grinham and June Bowen; Clyde Cruickshanks had a birdie at the 8th; Lyn Cruickshanks had a good shot at the 8th and won nearest the pin; Ross Drakeford had birdies at the 16th and 18th; Christine Drakeford had a great shot onto the 11th green after safely negotiating the bunker; Ron Dekker had a birdie 2/4 on the 14th; Garry Trigg had 45 points which included birdies at the 1st, 2nd, 10th and 18th holes (Wow!); Joyce Bosley had a birdie 2/4 on the 14th with a duffed chip shot that ran along the ground and into the hole; Rosie Moore from Kempsey had a four pointer at the 1st hole - her shot in hit the flagpole narrowly missing a 5 pointer; Garry Wilkinson chipped in on the 18th for a par; Warren Gray had a birdie on the 1st.
