Golf - Saturday 27th March 2010

Another perfect day for golf & weddings - blue sky and sunshine as was required.
The Wedding Garden looked beautiful today with all the purple and white theme flowers now starting to bloom. White camellias, roses and gardenias - off set with the purple tibouchinas are a great blend. Today the bride chose to scatter rose petals around the red carpet which was a nice touch. The Wedding had a beach theme and the colours were aqua for water and pebble grey for the beach. The theme carried through to the Magnolia Room which looked very impressive with the white, aqua & pebble colours.
There was also a 21st birthday party scheduled for the Sunset Room so it was a busy place.
It was very sad to hear of the passing of Craig Elton - one of our young Members who lost his life in a road accident yesterday. Our sympathy & thoughts go to his family and friends at this time.
