Golf - Sunday 22nd November 2009

I rang the Pro Shop this afternoon to see if there were enough players to run a competition as it was such a stinker of a day - about 39 degrees in the shade. I was surprised to find that we had 68 golf tragics that not only played the 18 holes - but played them well, as you will see from the scores. I opted to stay home in the air conditioning and play with my grandson Joel as Peter had absconded to Melbourne. I was assured that the weather on the course was not as bad as it seemed and there was a breeze to help out a bit.
The Event of the day was changed to a Single Stableford for Men and Women as there was a danger of large numbers not completing their rounds due to the heat.
We had 68 starters with visitors from overseas, Everglades and Terrigal.

(Can't help bad luck)
