Norma Wilks - Winner of the Ladies Singles - Div 2

Georgina Lamb - Runner Up Ladies Singles - Div 3

With Kay Frewin, Rae Brown and Norma Wilks at the 1st Tee

It was lovely to have some blue sky and sunshine to play golf in today.  The wind picked up strongly later in the morning which was a bit challenging.

My playing partners today were Rae Brown, Kay Frewin and Norma Wilks and we had some good highlights through the day including some very close putts that just did not go in. Our best highlight was bringing in Norma as the winner of our division and Norma also won nearest the pin on the 8th.

The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Par + 2 Ball Team

We had 54 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: We were last in today so I was a bit too late in to gather everyone's highlights.  We had some good highlights including Rae Brown being the only scorer on the 1st and second holes; Kay Frewin had her swing going really well and scored well on the front nine; Norma Wilks hit a beautiful drive on the 8th hole that won her nearest the pin and followed that up with a great drive on the 14th that we first thought had gone in the hole, in addition Norma had a nice 4 plus on the 15th and won her division; my highlight was at the 17th where I scored 4 plus which will bring me back next week.
