HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Mel Forster and Russell Willing had a birdie on the 14th, had a great score of 100 1/2 nett over 27 holes including many pars Their turning point was on the 2nd hole when Russell put his drive over the fence into the sheep and Mel gave him a pink ball to continue the game with (as punishment) so Russell had to play all the rest of his shots down the middle of the fairways so no one would notice the pink ball; Neville Walker played great draws to the green at the 9th and the 18th; Jan Walker did some very nice chip shots to the green; Kath Payn sank a great long putt at the 5th; Julie Hazzard won nearest the pin on the 5th; Gail and Stewart Williams had a birdie on the 15th; Norma and Kerry Cubis played steady golf complimenting each other's shots; Glennis English lipped out on the 13th narrowly missing a birdie; Trevor Blackburn enjoyed good company; George Foster played the whole day without getting his white shirt dirty; Duncan Dyer had a nice day not playing golf; Vicki Fosters highlight was playing with her husband; Terry Coyle's highlight was Sandra did not attempt to hit him once; Mark Stimpson and Jill Malone birdied the 5th hole and Jill  had driven the 5th green twice today; my highlights were an awesome chip to the 9th green and another awesome sand wedge shot to the 10th green, winning runners up in the 18 hole nett and winning a ball.
