We had a huge day at F-Troop this morning with some big projects on hand.

We had 14 volunteers which made the work much quicker.

On duty were Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Geoff Bridge, Peter Martin, Terry Coyle, Sam Knox, Steve Hogg, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, John Hollebon, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

The tree gang of Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Sam Knox, Kevin O'Brien, Steve Hogg and Geoff Bridge were kept busy all morning clearing a pine tree from the 1st fairway as well as doing some undercutting before loading the ute with a load of firewood for after morning tea delivery.

Rob Benson and Terry Coyle worked hard all morning on rubbish pick up duty including the cuttings from the tibouchina trees on the 1st fairways and I understand that the "New" ute performed very well.

John Hollebon continued with the maintenance of the hedges including finishing the 8th tee and worked on the 1st and 10th tees including helping me with the clean up at the 1st tee.

Peter Martin and Don Nicholls completed the marking of all the car park spaces, front, back and side of the clubhouse as well as maintaining the garden watering system.

Anne Burgess worked around the BBQ Garden and the Clubhouse Gardens.

Di Beechey cleaned up around the clubhouse, car parks, 1st and 10th tees including trimming the tibouchinas, watering the gardens and cleaning up the gardens and paths.

I worked at the 14th bush toilets including watering the gardens, checked the garden at the 15th behind the 14th green for grub invasion and sprayed the clivias, trimmed the hedges and shrubs at the 14th green, watered the pots at the tranquility garden, tidied up the ladies 3rd tee, watered the bike garden, 9th ladies tee garden, pots at the 9th green, pots in the wedding gazebo, pots at the putting green and 1st tee, cleaned out the garden at the 10th tee and cleaned away the rubbish; watered the gardens at the 10th tee and the hedge at the 4th tee.

we really appreciated our morning tea  of savoury breads, cakes and slices after a hard mornings work. Thank you Barto!

After morning tea Peter and Kevin did a firewood delivery.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
