Golf - Friday 1st May 2015

The course was a bit too wet for our golfers today so there was no competition.  There were some social players out there that said the greens were in great condition.  The course itself was wet but the front nine was in better shape than the back.

We hope tomorrow's predicted rain does not get worse than showers and the heavy rain sweeps by us like it did today.

Decisions on the state of the course will be made in the morning so check with the Pro Shop if you have concerns regarding the carts etc.

Be sure to be watching tonight the Aust. Vs NZ ANZAC Test Match and be watching for John and Julie Hazzard's grandson Alex Johnston who is representing AUSTRALIA playing on the wing.

GOSFORD GOLFERS AT HAWKS NEST:

There were a lot of heavy downfalls at Hawksnest that greatly affected the Ladirs Classic that was held today.

We did have some good results with Annette Cross coming Runner Up in B Grade and a few players winning balls.

Men's Day tomorrow - hope the weather holds enough for the, to get some results.

My thanks to Annette Cross for the results report.
