We had a cool but pleasant day for golf that did fine up by mid morning. My playing partners were Kathy Small, Fran James and Lesley Gregory and we were participating in the Singles Knockout Event which provided us with some good highlights and exciting close finishes with both of our groups fighting it out to the 18th hole.
The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Par - Over the Field + the Second Round of the Singles Knockout.
We had 19 starters in the daily event.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Lynn Puiatti parred the 2nd; Lyn Cruickshanks played well; Judy Verlander parred the 7th and the 16th. Our group in the knockout had a very exciting finish to the 18th which required the defender to win rather than square the hole to carry the contest on to the 1st hole.
my highlight was being down 4 with four holes to go and gathered in an exciting finish by winning three holes in a row.
