The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.

We had 92 starters with 1 visitor from Qantas.

This was Steve's first ever Hole-in-One so well done Steven! 😊

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Julie Hazard had a birdie 2/4 on the 8th; Anne Forrester had 4/4 on the 3rd; Brent Frewin had no birdies but still managed a steady 34 points as well as saving Helen's buggy from the water on the 4th; Clyde Cruickshanks had a birdie on the 12th;Lyn Cruickshanks played a steady game parring the 8th and the 15th; Sally Hopkins had a birdie at the 5th for 3/2; Lorraine Bignall had a birdie 3/4 at the 9th; Rosalie Dyer had 4/3 at the 16th with a putt of 12 + metres; Duncan Dyer and Kevin O'Brien beat the girls for the Keno Ticket; Kay Frewin chipped in on the 2nd for a par and got over all of the water; Steven Cross had a Hole in One on the 8th and a birdie on the 2nd; Alice Diamond had a birdie 3/4on the 15th; Mark Stimpson had a birdie on the 14th; Annette Cross had 4/4 on the 17th; Mark Stimpson & Steve Cross won the Keno Ticket; Louise Bush turned a 3/4 into a 4/3; Di Beechey had some good pars; Nigel Asken had birdies at the 12th and 18th; Helen Smith and Sheena Asken had a nice day in the sunshine; Kay Baillie had 4/4 on the 16th; Neville Walker had 2/5 on the 16th hitting with a 6 iron so that the ball never left the ground; Annie Brink came very close to a hole in one on the 14th and had an easy birdie; Bert Brink chipped in from the bunker on the 15th; my highlight was helping Steven Cross celebrate his Hole-in-One after golf today.
