A place cleared at the 17th dog leg garden
for some new clivea plants in the shade of the camellia trees
It took us a while to warm up this morning after a very cool early morning. We had twelve volunteers on duty which helped us to get through our projects.
On hand were Kevin O'Brien, Rob Benson, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge, Don Nicholls, Steve Hogg, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey & Anne Burgess.
Today's projects included tree maintenance, loaded firewood & cut up timber, pick up of loose timber and rubbish from around the course, delivery of firewood sales, clean up of the 1st and 10th tee area, watering gardens and tidy up at the BBQ area and around the clubhouse including planting in a new azalea, planting in clivea plants at the 17th dog leg garden, cleaning the bush toilets, watering the gardens in the 14th greenspace gardens, planting in more agapanthus at the greenspace gardens, cleaning out the drain and removing rubbish from the banks of the creek.
We needed our morning tea to warm up even after a hard mornings work. Thanks to Barto for keeping us sustained with a much appreciated assortment of goodies.
