We had a beautiful day for golf today on the Village Green. We will be back next week to try our luck in the Team Series.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Women + a 2BBB Team.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Fay Bailey had 40 easy points; Carolyn Buttsworth parred the 11th and had 5/3 on the 1st; Grahame Muller sank a 30 metre chip to the 14th; Cheryl Davison had 36 points and no wipes; Ron Puiatti had a birdie on the 18th for 4/4; Ron & Col beat the girls for the Keno Ticket; Col Matterson scrapped in respectable; Bert Brink had a chip in out of the bunker on the 16th; Kevin O'Brien had a birdie on the 15th; Helen Potter outdrove all of her opponents all day; Dick Bosley had 4 pointers on the 7th and the 15th; Peter Laybutt had a lovely day; Leonie Kelly played a steady game; Sandra Coyle celebrated her birthday today and had a 2/4 on the 12th; Terry Coyle had 4/2 after being in the creek; Lyn Cruickshanks played a nice steady game;
Kerry Rose and Jason Chappell enjoyed their game with Owen and Fran James; my highlight was dinner at the club after golf.
