We had a wonderful day for golf today for the 32nd Annual Mixed Team Series.
Our team members Paul Scholberg and Marianne Lanham played with Bert and Annie Brink and we played with Bert and Annie's partners Clyde and Lyn Cruickshanks. We had a lovely day on the village green with some good highlights to encourage us to come back next week.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 32nd Annual Mixed Team Series.
We had 71 starters with 16 daily players.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Lyn Cruickshanks parred the 15th and sank two lovely long putts; Peter Martin had a brilliant par on the 7th; Clyde Cruickshanks had 3 pars in a row; Annie Brink had 3/4 on the 8th; Sally and David Hopkins (new members) both won nearest the pin on the 12th hole; Rhonda Robertson had good value from her game having many opportunities to swing her clubs; Wally Robertson birdied the 10th; Sheena Asken had birdies at the 7th and the 16th; Julie Hazzard played good golf scoring 38 points including 4/3 at the 15th; Denise Bentlin had 4/4 at the 16th; Cheryl Davison had 4/4 at the 16th with a 15 foot putt and 7/2 at the 18th sinking a long putt; Lynn Puiatti had nine X 2 pointers on the front nine; Rosalie Dyer played a good back 9; Ron Puiatti had five 3 pointers on the back 9; Jemison Fitzgerald chipped in for a 2/4 birdie at the 8th; Vicki Foster achieved her goal today; George Foster had a gobbler on the 6th; Kevin O'Brien birdied the 16th; Helen Smith had a gobbler on the 6th; Kathy Small had 3/4 birdie at the 15th; David Small had a birdie at the 12th; John Hollebon had a 4 pointer on the 3rd; Georgina Lamb had a 4 pointer; Carolyn Buttsworth had 5/4 on the 10th; Lorraine Bignall had 4/3 on the 9th; my highlight was finishing with the same ball I started with.
