I understand that it was 2 degrees at 7.00am this morning which explains why my fingers were stinging  with the cold.  We had 10 brave volunteers turn up to work on our projects.

On hand were Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, Geoff Bridge, Terry Coyle, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Di Beachey and Jan Martin.

The boys chopped up a branch on the 3rd tee, cleaned out the drain at the 6th, picked up the pine leaves between the 16th and 17th, cleaned out the dogleg corner of the 17th near the creek edge and trimmed the camellias at the 11th.

Rob and Terry were on pick up duty and collected loose timber and rubbish from around the course.

John Hollebon worked on the hedge maintenance at the 10th and also the second.

Di Beechey cleaned up around the BBQ garden area, the wedding garden and watered the plants in the clubhouse gardens.

I worked at the 14th Bush Toilet area, planted some donated bulbs, tidied up at the 6th tranquility garden and watered the pots, tidied up the golf shoe garden at the 4th and the 2nd, watered the bike garden, watered the garden at the Ladies 9th Tee, sprayed for caterpillars again at the 8th tee garden, trimmed back the Clivias at the 17th dogleg garden and sprayed for caterpillars, watered the pots in the wedding gazebo and watered the front door plant.

We were ready the enjoy our Morning Tea of cakes, slices, iced buns and savoury buns.  Thank you Barto!

After morning tea Trevor delivered the last of the firewood and Peter gurnied the white table and two chairs donated by Vicki Foster's mother Margaret.  Thank you Margaret I am sure we can find a happy home for them

Thank you to the Central Coast Leagues Club Social Golf Club for their generous donation of $200 which is very much appreciated.

Please note that we have sold our stock of firewood timber for this year.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

And now for the answer to last yesterday's quiz!

I have not had any right answers so I can tell you the mystery schoolboy is Kevin O'Brien. If you can't remember what he looks like,  check out Sunday Winners photos.

Now can you spot him in the school photo?  Should be easy now that you have seen a close up photo.
