Darcy Janice Martin - born 7.30 am this morning to Shane and Danielle - our 3rd darling granddaughter, 4.1/2 lbs and 6 weeks, 2 days premature - but healthy and happy.





The Golf Event of the day was the Annual President Vs Captains Day - American Foursomes -for mixed pairs.

We had 84 starters with 6 visitors from Shelly Beach, Kooindah Waters, Young and Taree.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Rhonda Robertson had an airswing at the 9th hole; Lyn Bates had a birdie at the 18th, Peter Laybutt had a birdie at the 13th;,Cheryl Davison finished with the same ball she started with; John Slight had an air swing on the 7th; Robyn Johnston was a spectacular player and played well with Nigel Asken; Garry and Kay Baillie had a forgettable 18th hole; Kevin O'Brien and Lorraine Bignall were on the 6th green for 2 and on the 7th green for 2; Leanne Binns putted well; Wally Baillie had a birdie on the 6th and Richard Casey had a birdie on the 8th; LynCruickshank  won all of the three arguements she had with Clyde; Sandra Coyle missed a 4inch putt at the 9th; my highlight was the addition of a brand new granddaughter to our family today!
