HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Neville Walker had a gobbler on the 1st then went on to par 3/7/12/13/14/17 scoring a nice 40 points on the day; Jan Walker did some nice long putts; Brent Frewin had a birdie on the 15th; Anne Forrester rolled in a long putt on the 16th for a par; George Foster was the only boy in the team and got beaten for the Keno Ticket and then to add salt to the wound he lost five golf balls; Robertson team had 10 points on the 6th (4/3/3); Col Matterson had a birdie on the 18th; Kay Adams had a birdie on the 8th; Lorraine Bignall had a birdie on the 6th; Kevin O'Brien had a birdie on the 10th; Grahame Muller sank a huge long putt on the 1st for 3/4; Georgina Lamb was a consistent player; Wally Bailey had pars at the 6/7/8/13/14; Fay Bailey hit the Wong ball on the 1st hole and it was all downhill from there; Ray Buttsworth parred the 15th; in the Buttsworth Group the lefties beat the righties for the Keno Ticket; Craig Ward had a birdie on the 9th to win the skins; my highlight was having 20 points on the turn and winning a ball.

A reminder about the Nine and Dine competition this Friday evening. Book in at the Pro Shop for this popular event.  The new kitchen will be up and running so we are looking forward to seeing it in action.

Captain Mark Stimpson has announced that in the future if bunkers are out of play we WILL BE handicapping.
