Golf - Friday 15th January 2016

The dreaded sign - Course Closed

We just had too much water on the course plus some wind damage for golf to be played today.

I noticed two trees down between the 1st fairway and the practice area today. We can't seem to take a trick with this erratic weather.

Our kitchen staff on duty tonight - Ranga Hanna and James Smith
Cooking up hamburgers on the balcony at the great value of $12 per head
on our newly purchased portable BBQ.

All of our  32 supportive Members who were in attendance at the club tonight for the Hamburgers, meat raffles and Members a Draw.   The draw was won by a social member who was not in attendance and the draw will now jackpot by $50 next week.  The meat raffles were scattered amongst the tables with our table winning 5 trays.

The Club kitchen is currently being totally renovated so that Members can be offered a bigger and better service from our Bistro.  The Bistro should be up and running by the end of the month. Meanwhile the club is providing BBQ meals on Friday evenings to cater for the good supporting members who see fit to continue their support to the club during this interim time.

The Member Draw is now getting to a significant amount and there would be nothing better than to see it go to a Member who us prepared to kick in when the club needs them most and is prepared to attend our raffle nights on Friday evenings.
