F-Troop - Monday 4th January 2016


F- Troop Morning Tea - Kevin O'Brien, John Hollebon, Duncan Dyer, Rob Benson, Trevor Harrison, Jan Martin, Peter Martin, Geoff Bridge.

The Calvary turned up just in time to pick up the last barrow full of mulch. Thanks Duncan, Trevor and Kevin.

The wet weather did not put off our die hards this mornning and we achieved some good results in working through our projects.

On hand were Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Geoff Btidge, Kevin O'Brien, Rob Benson, Peter Martin John Hollebon and Jan Martin.

The Tree Gang of Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge and Kevin OBrien did some undercutting at the back of the golf practice area on the 1st, helped with spreading the mulch on the 2nd Garden and tidied up behind the clubhouse emptied the garden rubbish bins.

Peter Martin and Rob Benson helped me at the Rose Gardens at the putting green, picked up rubbish around the course, spread some mulch on the gardens at the 3rd and 5th, tidied up at the back of the clubhouse.

John Hollebon trimmed the shrubs and hedges at the 1st tee and the 2nd Tee.

I trimmed the roses at the putting green, restaked the roses, weeded and fertilised the beds, tidied up at the 14th Bush Toilets, tidied up the 6th Tranquility Garden, helped the spread the mulch at the 5th tee, tidied up at the 2nd green garden, tidied up at the water feature garden, fertilised the mandevillias and watered the pots in the Wedding Gazebo.

We were happy to have our scratch morning tea after a hard mornings work we always enjoy our morning tea break.

The silly season is just about over and we should be back to full strength after the holidays.
