Golf - Sunday 2nd March 2014

My apologies to Leonie Casey for accidentally deleting her "winners" photo tonight during editing.

We were very lucky that the good weather was on our side today getting in 18 holes high and dry with very little water on the course which has drained amazingly well after all the recent rain . As expected the bunkers were awash in places but the rest of the course was in great condition considering the amount of rain that we have had.

Our playing partners today were George and Vicki Foster who (as usual) were great company.  The boys beat the girls for the Keno ticket on the 18th after a great chip shot into the hole from Peter, however George should be commended and must have been feeling the strain after having carried us for a lot of the match. Our other highlight was beating the team of Ron & Lynn Puiatti, Duncan & Rosalie Dyer in the team score for a Keno Ticket.

The Golf Event of the day was a Team Stableford Split Sixes + Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.

We had 51 starters.
