F-Troop - Monday 17th March 2014

Gosford Golf Course was very busy today with social players and hosting Super Seniors Pennants as well as the greens staff and F-Troopers busily picking up debris from yesterday's storm.

We only had a small crew today as some of helpers are "touring"; hosting the Super Seniors; holidays or  have health issues etc.

Today we had five volunteers and managed to do a super job working with the green staff to clean up and working on other projects.  We had Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge, Rob Benson, Carolyn Buttsworth and Jan Martin.

Geoff, Trevor & Rob teamed up to remove the tree branches that were down at the 9th tee and the 11th fairway.  This was a huge job and the boys did well to get it all cleaned up.

With the help of the Greens Staff the course was cleaned up well - so it is business as usual on the course.

Carolyn cleared all the sticks and branches from the 1st, 10th, Wedding Garden and the 18th green area as well as cleaning up the BBQ area.

I cleaned up at the Bush Toilets; Ladies 3rd Tee; 5th Tee; 9th fairway to the right of the 2nd tee; 1st and 10th tee area; cleared weeds out of the small garden at the Men's 10th Tee and cleaned the weeds out of the back wall of the Men's 10th Tee.

Chef John excelled himself with large iced buns for Morning Tea which we all appreciated.  Thanks Chef John!

Well done to our workers today!

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
