F-Troop - Monday 2nd December 2013

We had nine volunteers today for F-Troop work which gave us enough workers to get some good work done.

We had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls, Geoff Bridge, Rob Benson, Garry Trigg, Peter Martin, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

The boys applied themselves to fixing holes in the paths, trimming hedges at the 2nd and the 7th, raking and cleaning up the tees, general rubbish pick up and collecting loose timber.

Di Beechey cleaned up the car park, BBQ area and underneath the clubhouse before attending a Ladies Committee Meeting and then after the meeting helped me with clearing the Front Street Garden.

I worked at the Wedding Garden trimming back some of the overgrown succulent plants, cleaned the Bush Toilets and paths, helped Peter to load the rubbish from the garden bins, planted in two "Fairy" Magnolias in the Front Street Garden, trimmed back the jasmine ground cover and some of the grasses in the Front Street Garden.

We enjoyed morning tea of varied muffins - Thank you Chef John!

We always have a lot of loose timber down after inclement weather so with that picked up, hedge trimmings and garden trimmings included we had quite a lot of trailer and ute loads going to the dump area.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
