F-Troop - Monday 12th August 2013

We had a beautiful day to work on our projects today but were restricted with a very busy course.

We had eight volunteers - Martin Gallagher, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, Warren Gray, Peter Martin, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

Martin & Trevor worked on installing some security lights at the F-Troop Shed assisted by Don after he had done some repair work at the BBQ garden.

Rob & Warren were on pick up duty and then they helped out at the 2nd green garden.

Peter worked on the garden edges at the 2nd green garden and I weeded and mulched about a third of the garden.  My thanks to the green staff for delivering three loads of mulch out to the garden for us.

Anne worked on Camellia Way, the BBQ area, planted some Kangaroo Paw at the 6th back garden; cleaned the bush toilets, filled in some rabbit holes in the gardens and did some watering.

Morning tea was very welcome - giant iced Chelsea buns - Thanks Chef John!

We achieved a good amount of work for a small crew today.
