What a great day we had for golf today - 31  degrees  with a gentle breeze and plenty of sunshine and

blue skies.

Our playing partners were Adrian & Anne Burke and we had a very enjoyable day on the Village Green.  We enjoyed good company and some good highlights the best of which was from the champion of the day (well in my lunch time) with 35 points.

The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Women + 2 Ball Team.

We had 70 starters with 6 visitors from Woolooware, Riverside Oaks, Avondale, Killara.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Anne Burke had a 3 pointer on the 15th (much celebration); Adrian Burke had 3 pointers at the 3/6th and 8th; Peter Martin had 3/4 on the 5th; 3/4 on the 14th and 4/3 15th; Neville Walker had 4/3 on the 16th; Lyn Cruickshank had 3/4 on the 8th; Joyce Bosley outdrove Dick Bosley on 1 hole; Wally Loschi chipped in on the 18th for a birdie; Kath Payn enjoyed 37 points; Kay Baillie enjoyed 34 points; Vicki Foster & Lauren Matterson beat the boys for the Keno Ticket;Vicki Foster had 3/3on the 8th and 3/3 on the 12th; Col Matterson had his first putt all day to reach the hole on the 18th; Lorraine Bignall had 4/4 birdie on the 18th; Ray Buttsworth scored 2 points on every hole on the back 9;my highlights were scoring 3 x 3 pointers and 1 x 4 pointer on the par 3's and 5/3 on the 7th as well as winning a ball, finishing with the same ball I started with and getting more than 30 points - how good does it get!
