After a very wet weekend the course was in need of a lot of maintenance with flash flooding occurring over the course.  There was a lot of loose timber , branches and rubbish to be picked up as well as gardens and paths to be tidied up.

On hand we had 13 volunteers today which was a huge help with our projects.

Projects worked on today was rubbish and loose timber pick up, removing and cutting up a large fallen branch, tidy up around the clubhouse, 1st & 10th tees & Wedding Garden, trimming of the hedge on the front street garden, tidy up of the BBQ garden, planting in of another 100 ground cover plants at the 6th tee garden, weeding existing gardens at the 6th tee, cleaning of the Bush Toilets.

Needless to say we did not have to worry about watering of the gardens today,

We did appreciate morning tea this morning - scones, cakes, iced buns and some special slices from Angelique Scholberg.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
