Another hot day for golf without a lot of breeze to make it comfortable.  We are thinking it was 35-36 degrees on the course with the need for a lot of water.

Our playing partners today were Wally & Rhonda Robertson & we had a good day on the Village Green - the golf was not always wonderful but the company was good.

The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + Team 1 x 2 x 3.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Rosalie Dyer had 4/3 after puting her 2nd shot in the bunker, 3rd shot in the bunker and then had a sandy into the hole for 4/3; Wally Robertson had a fine 3 pointer on the 17th after nearly going out of bounds on his second shot to the green and recovered to score a 3 pointer to save the boys for the Keno ticket challenge; Rosalie Dyer & Kay Baillie beat the boys for the Keno Ticket; Steve Turner at the 14th hit out of bounds and then recovered to score well to Geraldine's disgust; Wally Loshchi hit a great drive to the 5th to win nearest the pin; my highlight was sinking a putt on the 16th from the back of the green at least 25 foot to win the hole for the girls in the Keno Ticket.
