We were all very busy bees today looking after our many varied projects today.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Rob Benson, Geoff Bridge, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

The course was busy with a District Ladies Match so we had to work our way around the course carefully.

Projects worked on today were maintenance to the 2nd Green gardens including removal of some of the Camphor Laurel trees, watering and planting in of new camellia bushes, maintenance to the 2nd tee gardens including dead heading of the strelitzia plants, tidy up of the 1st and 10th tees, planting in of new succulent plants (donated by Ron Gowing) in pots at the Xanadu garden to enhance that area, pick up of loose timber and rubbish around the course, planting in of agapanthus donated by Duncan Dyer,at the BBQ garden and watering the gardens there, planting in of Flax plants at the 14th greenspace (plants donated by Ron Gowing), cleaning of the bush toilets and watering the gardens in the greenspace, watering and fertilizing the orange trumpet flowers at the 14th tee, tidy up of the tranquility garden at the 6th tee and watering the pots there, watering and fertilizing the bike garden, 9th Ladies tee garden and the 9th potted Mandevillas, watered the Xanadu garden, 1st and 10th gardens and the red hedge at the 10th, erected a new notice board in the Pro Shop, watered the 4th tee hedge.

We were all ready for morning tea break and appreciated our spread of savoury breads, iced buns and donuts - Thank You Barto!
