The first day of Autumn was a lovely day for golf even though the heat is still around the weather is changing for the better. My playing partners were Fran James and Michelle Kennett and we enjoyed our day on the village green. We managed to do a lot of trick shots today and found a good combination of water, bunkers and trees to battle our way out of.

The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford and 1st Round CCWGA Brooch + Veterans in conjunction.

We had 74 starters.
