We had a lovely day for golf - 27 degrees with a light breeze to keep the heat under control. My playing partners were Christine Drakeford and Eileen Major and we had a good day on the village green where we were all a bit erratic at times but had some good 3 pointers. We finished in 4 hours which was a good easy round of golf and we played last in the field.
The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Carolyn Buttsworth hit a 90 metre shot into the hole at the 4th for 3/5; Christine Drakeford hit a fantastic shot out of the pine needles off the path at the 17th green landing beautifully on the green and then sank the putt; Eileen Major made it most of the way around without going in the water; my highlight was having a good drive on the 17th scoring 5/3 and winning a ball.
