2016 A, B, C and Junior Gosford Golf Club pennant series
Good morning members. We are currently seeking nominations for the 2016 Gosford Golf Club Pennant series.
Important Dates
The A, B and C grades will be played from the 10th January through until the 21stFebruary with all matches played on Sundays. The juniors will be played from the 30thJanuary through until the 22nd April with all matches played on Saturdays.
Handicaps
The handicaps will be determined from your GA and are as followed:
A grade- finishing at 12.4,
B grade from 12.5 to 18.4
C grade from 18.5 to 36
The cut off date for determining grades is on the 26th December. Nominations close on the 14th November with the squad announced shortly there after along with free clinics and the team BBQ. Anyone wishing to act as manager will be more than welcome.
Let’s follow on from a fabulous 2015 campaign where we are the B and C grade champions and in 2016 we can go even further and take out the Sterland Shield!!! I urge anyone that loves match play and wants to be apart of the club’s great team spirit to put their name down on the nomination sheet in the Pro Shop. When nominating please state your current GA handicap as well as shirt size.
We are currently in the process in seeking a sponsor for all our pennnant team shirts and we would welcome any extra sponsorship from members or their organisations.
Attached is the draw for both A, B, C gade and Juniors and the conditions of play can be issued on request.
