Golf - Tuesday 28th April 2015

It is hard to believe that a week ago our course was devastated by the cyclonic storms that uprooted trees and dumped inches of rain.  Now just one week later our course is open for play.  It is still wet underfoot and there is yet a lot of timber and rubbish to be picked up - even so 18 holes of the course are playable which is an amazing achievement by our greens staff - assisted by volunteers.

Today the Ladies Competition was played on the front nine holes - playing them twice however the 18 holes were open for social play.

The good news for tomorrow is the Men's Competition will go ahead as programmed.  The 18 holes will be open, carts will be allowed on the course, only some of the bunkers will be out of play and those that are will be staked.  Players will be handicapped.
You can all turn up in droves and enjoy your day!
