The Golf course was busy with social and pennants players today but we carried on regardless as we had a lot of projects to catch up on after having a rest over Easter.

We had 11 volunteers today😀 - Trevor Harrison, Sam Knox, Warren Gray, Don Nicholls, Geoff Bridge,
Richard Casey, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

The main projects today were concreting in a pole in the front street garden for the new advertising sign and filling in holes in the pathways around the course.

Trevor Harrison also helped me to trim some hawthorn bushes at the 2nd tee.

Sam Knox split up some more firewood for our future wood sales.

Don Nicholls worked on some plumbing problems in the clubhouse.

The boys did a great job of rubbish pick up around the course and filling in paths with road base.

Di Beechey worked on clearing the garden under the magnolia trees and the worked in the wedding garden area.

Anne Burgess cleaned up the BBQ area, 1st and 10th tees including the water feature, tidied up at the 3rd ladies tee, did some rubbish pick up around the course and worked at Camellia Way.

I cleaned up at the Bush toilets, tidied up at the 6th, trimmed the hawthorn bushes at the 2nd, raked up the rubbish from under the trees on the 9th fairway, weeded around the lemon magnolia and tidied up that area, watered the potted plants.

We enjoyed morning tea of fruit pasties and mini cakes - Thank you Chef Ranga

Our stocks of firewood are good so get your orders in early because the winter cold is on its way.

YES WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
