We had a nice day for golf after last night's storm. Although it was the dreaded Greenkeeper's Revenge we all had a good day facing up to the challenges set for us hitting off the Men's tees over the 10th, 3rd and 13th.
My playing partners were Yvonne Cumming and Sandra Innes and we had a good fun day with a lot of laughs. Yvonne was the star finishing off the day with a lovely gobbler par for a 4 pointer at the 18th. Yvonne also scored a great 2 pointer at the 10th after hitting her drive left off the men's 10th tee, hitting the metal course conditions board near the path, rebounded to the first tee where she had to struggle back to the 10th fairway negotiating the trees at the 9th.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford - Greenkeeper's Revenge where the tees are put right back and the holes placed in precarious positions.
We had 51 starters including one visitor Arja Clark from Kooindah.
