EMAIL SCAM ALERT: This week I received an email aledgedly from the RTA informing me of an outstanding infringement notice due to be paid within 28 days. THE RTA DOES NOT ADVISE INFRINGEMENT NOTICES BY EMAIL. This email at first glance does look genuine but on closer inspection it is not exactly in the Queen's English which is a give away.
If you have received an email of this kind do not give any bank details or attempt to pay any amount. If you receive one in the future delete it without opening it.
