F-Troop - Monday 1st December 2014

We had a very busy morning at F-Troop this morning working with a skeleton crew of eight.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Don Nicholls, Rob Benson, Warren Gray, Peter Martin,
Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

The Tree Gang of Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Warren Gray worked along the fenceline of the 2nd.

Rob Benson did a great job of replacing the front door mat at the Pro Shop before helping the Tree Gang at the 2nd.

Peter Martin & Don Nicholls completed three plumbing jobs in the clubhouse and painted some safety strips on the doorways underneath the clubhouse.

Di Beechey cleaned up around the clubhouse and the BBQ area before completing the painting of the outdoor furniture under the clubhouse and tidying up the Spike Bar..

I worked out at the bush toilet area cleaning the toilet block and raked up the paths and gardens there, trimmed the lavender and daisies in the pots at the 4th tee, trimmed the  Lilly Pilly at the 10th Tee, watered the potted plants in the wedding gazebo, renewed the water in the water feature at the 1st Tee.

We appreciated morning tea of scones, jam and cream - Thank You Chef Alice!

I have had a lot of enquiries regarding the flowering trees at the 7th Tee.  They are Norfolk Island Hibiscus Trees and are currently out in full flower.  They can be grown from the seeds - but beware the seeds contain fibres that can irritate the skin.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
