F-Troop - Monday 15th September 2014

We had a great day for F-Troop work today.  The course is drying up and we could take out the heavy vehicles which meant we could get some serious undercutting done.

We only had a small crew today as my helpers were representing Gosford in a 3BBB knockout at Toukley.  (I note Carolyn managed to get a broom in her hand at Toukley!!!

We had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Peter Martin, Rob Benson, Warren Gray, Geoff Bridge and Jan Martin.

The boys combined today to cut up a large fallen branch at the back of the Wedding Garden, undercut some trees on the 4th and 6th fairways and pulled out fireweed at the 3rd fairway.

Warren & Rob did rubbish pickup and erected the new seat at the Men's 13th Tee.

I cleaned up the garden at the new cart shed and removed fireweed from the 6th, 13th, 4th and started on the 3rd fairway.

Morning Tea of Croissants, scones, Jam & Cream was very welcome after a hard mornings work. Thank you Chef Brad!

After morning Tea the boys tidied up at the practice nets reversing the net around.

We had to work around the Kidney Foundation Charity day that had an 8.30 shotgun start and it was good that they had some good weather at last to enjoy their golf.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Here is another "Blast from the Past"
