Golf - Tuesday 11th February 2014

We had some nice cloud cover to keep the heat down this morning and it was very pleasant playing golf.

My playing partners were Yvonne Cumming and Robin Incoll and we had some good highlights throughout the morning with some nice 3 pointers between us and a 4 pointer from Yvonne.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me:  Judy Verlander had a gobbler birdie on the 1st; Linda Rogers had a gobbler birdie on the 10th; Wendy Stapleton has a brand new grandson, Teo William Stapleton, born on 3rd February - Congratulations Wendy and Ray! ; Christine Drakeford celebrates her 60th birthday this week - Happy Birthday Christine!  I was last in today and did not have time to gather highlights before presentation.

It was good to know that we no longer have to report or keep track of our eclectic points this year.  It is all done automatically by the computer.  Technology can be wonderful when it works.
Post Edit:
When things sound too good to be true - they usually are:  a correction on the above advice - the Eclectics will be calculated for us for the first two weeks - thereafter we revert back to the old system of manual forms to be filled in by us and handed in with our score cards.
