The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford + 2 Ball Aggregate Mixed Men and Ladies.
We had 68 starters with two visitors, Paul & Sandra Holmes from Young.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Warren Gray had a birdie on the 14th and a 4 pointer on the 17th; Team of Mary Bromwich & Jan Martin were narrowly beaten for the Keno ticket at the 17th;
Peter Laybutt had 40 points and he and Sandy enjoyed playing with their visitors Paul & Sandra Holmes from Young;. Ron Puiatti had an EAGLE at the 11th hitting a beautiful drive, followed up with a perfect 8 iron to the pin landing a few inches beyond the hole and back spinning into the hole ( eat your hearts our Tiger & Rory!); Vicki Foster parred the 3rd with a 4/4; Rosalie Dyer parred the 3rd and the 14th; Rhonda Robertson had a lucky par at the 17th and with her partner Vicki Foster beat the boys for the keno ticket; Nigel Asken (for the first time at Gosford) lost 3 balls in a row; David Small had a birdie on the 18th (saving the best for last) which means he will be coming back next week now that he has worked it all out; Chris Dekker cheered up her day with 21 points on the back 9; Annie Brink had two 4 pointers; Anne Forrester had a birdie on the 15th; Brent Frewin had birdies on the 11th and the 13th; Joyce Bosley birdied the 14th in spite of not having her land legs back yet; Kevin O'Brien had a great day having birdies on the 4th, 6th & 8th chipping in on the 6th and chipping in on the full straight into the hole at the 8th; Spencer Walklate had a birdie on the 15th; Wally Johnston had 3/5 on the 4th hole and had a par on the 5th out of the rough, had a gobbler 4/4 on the 9th and 23 points on the front 9; Robyn Johnston played a steady game; my highlights were playing to my handicap for the first 9 holes and finishing with the same ball I started with.
