F-Troop - Monday 24th December 2012

ALL THE BEST FOR CHRISTMAS DAY
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

We had a hot day for working at F-Troop today but managed to get some good work done.

Being Christmas Eve a lot of our workers were caught up with other commitments but we did have Martin Gallagher, Geoff Bridge, Trevor Harrison, Peter Martin, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin to share the load of cleaning up the course, trimming trees, fixing in a pole at the cart shed and watering the gardens.

We picked up five loads on the tractor and two full trailer loads of rubbish from the course and the car parks and some of the tees where we managed to get some raking done.

We got most of the really dry gardens watered which was badly needed as we have not had any good useful rainfall for some time and the gardens were very dry.

We enjoyed our morning tea of fruit pastries and mini muffins - Thank You Chef John!

We have cleaned up the course as best we could and hope that all the Members enjoy their golf over the holidays.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
